Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026
This policy explains what information the Arrow Escape game ("the app") and its website ("the site") collect, why, how long it is kept and the choices you have. Arrow Escape is published by Inovit BD ("we", "us"). Contact us at tanvirmahin24@gmail.com.
The short version
- You can play without an account. Your progress (levels, stars, coins, themes) is stored on your phone.
- If you choose to sign in with Google Play Games, your progress is also backed up in your Play Games saved game so it can be restored on another phone.
- For the daily leaderboard and to improve level difficulty, the app sends anonymous gameplay results to our server under a random player ID. No email, phone number or real name is ever asked for.
- The app shows ads from Google AdMob. Google may collect device identifiers and usage data to show and measure ads, as described below. Where the law requires it, the app asks for your consent first, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings > Ad privacy choices.
- You can delete your online data at any time in Settings > Delete online data.
1. Information stored on your device
Game progress, settings (sound, music, vibration, theme), coins, hints, owned themes and daily challenge records are stored in the app's private storage on your device. If you use Android's backup, Google may back this data up to your Google account under Google's own terms, so you keep your progress on a new phone. We cannot access it.
2. Google Play Games (optional cloud save)
If you sign in with Google Play Games (automatically at launch if you use Play Games, or from Settings > Google Play Games), the app stores a copy of your game progress in a Play Games saved game: levels, stars, coins, hints, owned and selected themes, daily challenge records, statistics, your display name in the game and the anonymous player ID and token described below. The saved game is kept by Google in your Play Games account under Google's Privacy Policy and is only read by Arrow Escape on your devices. The app also reads your Play Games display name to show it in Settings. We never see your Google account email or password.
You can stop syncing at any time by signing out of Play Games, and delete the saved game and your Play Games data in the Google Play Games app (Profile > Settings > Delete Play Games account & data) or in your Google account's data controls.
3. Information our server collects
When the app has an internet connection it creates an anonymous profile on our server the first time it needs one:
- Player ID: a random identifier created by our server, plus a secret token that only your copy of the app knows (we store only a one-way hash of it).
- Display name: a randomly generated name such as "SwiftFox42", which you can change in Settings. It is shown on the daily leaderboard.
- Gameplay results: for each puzzle you finish or leave: the level number, whether you solved it, the time taken, mistakes, hints and continues used, stars and the number of arrows. We use this to balance difficulty and to show totals on this site.
- Daily challenge scores: your best time and mistakes for each day's puzzle, used for the leaderboard.
Our server does not collect your advertising ID, location, contacts, photos or other device data. Your IP address is used briefly in memory to protect the service from abuse (rate limiting); it is not written to our database or logs.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app is free and supported by ads served by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC (or Google Ireland Limited for users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland). To serve, cap, measure and (where you allow it) personalise ads and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:
- your device's advertising ID (or an app set ID),
- IP address and approximate location derived from it,
- device and app information (model, OS version, language, app version),
- ad interactions (impressions, clicks, video completions) and diagnostic data.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK, Switzerland or a US state with a privacy law that requires it, the app shows Google's consent message before ads are requested, and personalised ads are only shown if you agree. You can change your choice at any time in Settings > Ad privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings (Settings > Google > Ads), which stops ads personalisation based on it.

5. Why we process data (legal bases)
- Cloud save through Google Play Games: to provide the backup you asked for (performance of a contract).
- Leaderboards and your online profile: to provide the features you use (performance of a contract).
- Gameplay statistics: our legitimate interest in making the game fair, fun and well balanced.
- Rate limiting and security: our legitimate interest in keeping the service available.
- Personalised advertising: your consent, where the law requires it; otherwise our legitimate interest in funding a free game.
6. How long we keep data
- Gameplay results and daily scores: 13 months, then deleted automatically.
- Player profiles that have not been used for 2 years: deleted automatically with all their data.
- Data you delete yourself: removed from our database immediately.
7. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Your display name and daily results are visible to other players on leaderboards. Our hosting provider stores the server data on our behalf. Google receives the data described in section 4 through the AdMob SDK, and keeps your saved game if you use Google Play Games (section 2). We may disclose information if required by law.
8. Your rights and choices
You can access, correct (change your name), and delete your online data, object to processing, withdraw consent for personalised ads, and lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. To delete your data use Settings > Delete online data in the app or see how to delete your data. For anything else email tanvirmahin24@gmail.com. California residents: we do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA; ads personalisation can be limited as described above.
9. Children
Arrow Escape is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
The app talks to our server over encrypted HTTPS. Tokens are stored hashed. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the little data we hold.
11. The website
This site does not use cookies or third-party trackers. Pages may load live statistics from our server. Standard web server logs (request path, status, time) are kept without IP addresses.
12. Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and adjust the date above. Significant changes will also be announced in the app.
